Asian Muslim Action Network (AMAN)

AMAN Sri Lanka is affiliated with CTF peace forum that brings together individuals, groups, and associations of all religions in Asia towards establishing an enlightened inter-faith relationship through participatory approaches.

AMAN establishes local chapters and forming partnerships with like-minded organizations, ethnic groups, and communities to work on a common agenda towards promoting social justice, inter-religious dialogue, awareness, empowerment of women, communal harmony, poverty eradication, environmental protection, and human rights.

CTF as AMAN's associate in Sri Lanka actively supporting its activities that is led by an eminent group of people. During the year 2007, AMAN Sri Lanka in collaboration with CTF implemented the following activities:

Awareness raising workshop among religious bodies, teachers, women groups, and youth groups on the terrifying threat of HIV/AIDS.
Assistance to pre-school education
Facilitated the Pre-ICAAP workshop and the Asia Regional ICAAP workshop held in Sri Lanka in August 2007.

Opened the AMAN Associate Office in Colombo
